Mixing Two Or More Shades

DIRECTIONS

The 36 colors of the Herbatint range can be mixed together. Mix more nuances to create your own unique and natural looking color.

With Herbatint you can create unique and personalized look by mixing two or more shades, but you must always follow the mixing ratio 1:1 between color and developer.
If you want to mix the same amount of 2 shades, let’s say 6N and 7D, combine 1 fl oz. of 6N + 1 fl oz. of 7D (= 2 fl oz. of color) with 2 fl oz. of developer.

Measure, mix and apply, in three easy steps you can create the look that best suits your personality!

REMEMBER

Herbatint is compatible with other treatments such as highlights. Here are some tips to customize your color:

BLEND AWAY OR FADE WARM HIGHLIGHTS

Use the shades of the Ash (C) series, designed to neutralize and/or contrast unwanted red or copperish highlights, mixing them with a Natural (N) shade of the tone you want to obtain.

For example, you are starting off from a 5 Golden and you would like to obtain a 5 Natural. Here's what you should do:

2 PARTS OF 5N + 1 PART OF 6C

Or, in case you apply 60 (ml) of coloring,

Mix: 1,4 fl oz. of 5N + 0,7 fl oz. of 6C

Complete with 2 fl oz. of developer in order to respect the 1:1 mixing ratio between color and developer.

ACCENTUATE OR INTENSIFY WARM HIGHLIGHTS

Use the nuances of the FF Flash Fashion series choosing the same shades of the series you will use.

For example, you start off from 7 Copper and you would like to get a 7 shade with intense highlights.

2 PARTS OF 7R + 1 PART OF FF6

Or, if you apply 2 fl oz. of coloring,

Mix: 1,4 fl oz. of 7R + 0,7 fl oz. of FF6

Complete with 2 fl oz. of developer in order to respect the 1:1 mixing ratio between color and developer.
